O-Med began its journey in 2004 as a producer and packer, although the García-Casas family has been related to the world of olive groves for decades. Without going any further, his current Managers, Paula and Juan de Dios, are the fourth generation of an olive family. In 2004, they acquired an oil mill and farm in the town of Ácula, belonging to the district of Ventas de Huelma in Granada and that is when they began their journey in the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oils of the highest quality.

O-Med began its journey in 2004 as a producer and packer, although the García-Casas family has been related to the world of olive groves for decades. The farms are located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, at an altitude of 750 meters, a fundamental enclave that gives the oil the personality that has made O-Med one of the best EVOOs in the world.
Another important interest within the business philosophy is related to sustainability and the environment. For this, agronomic techniques are carried out, such as using the waste from the production process of the EVOO itself and the pruning remains as compost, the optimization of the use of water through buried drip irrigation, the use of meteorological stations that help to plan activities. agriculture, tree and soil monitoring through the use of sensors, etc ...
In addition, O-Med is a participant in Seo Birdlife's Living Olivares project, which promotes the proliferation of native flora and fauna, generating a rich and varied ecosystem.
